Kindergarten, school, university live separate worlds leaving a big gap between them. We all heard John Wood’s early development presentation recently. He made an important point that touched me: "I dislike the term “preschool preparation”, as if you educate and prepare a child if not for school, but for life (life-long skills). All the knowledge and skills a child gets should benefit him/her in life, not for the benefit of school”.

It is highly important for educators, administrators and managers to possess a required level, skills and desire when working with children. Participants will learn several models of personnel management in order to select one that would fit to the participants. Following areas will be presented:

- Searching and recruitment, orientation of a new staff, (Head Hunter as a key instrument)

- Training and staff professional development (how to design and apply)

- Staff resignation (highly important process)

- Different tools to motivate staff (“non-material motivation”)

- Payroll (how it is designed and which factors should affect it)

Employers think they are the ones who get to choose, select and fire staff and make decisions that affect staff. In fact, they don’t, unfortunately. It has already been a long time since potential employees choose and select where to work and spend next 2 years of their life. Our staff are also our customers. But we still think and manage our personnel based on our thinking.

In the past decades, India has made big achievements in the field of informational technology development with an ability to master modern innovative technologies and create their own competitive products. The country has a large number of world-known IT and other technical companies. They work closely with educational institutions in India, in particularly, with colleges and provide educational training programs for students and then recruit graduates who successfully complete training. Kyrgyzstan would benefit from this experience due to poor condition of vocational training, student recruitment for technical professions, poorly trained IT classes at schools, minuscule in terms of industry sector for IT in country’s economy.
