Just a reminder: The “Music, Soul of a Nation” concert-presentation series is organized by the Roza Otunbayeva Initiative in cooperation with the People’s Assembly of Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz National Conservatory with financial support from UNDP and informational support from the “STArt” Publishing House.
"We are now living as one family in one country, and to better understand and respect each other, we need to learn from and share with each other our languages, cultures and traditions. This will preserve and enhance the cultural heritage of each nation and enrich the overall cultural value of the people of Kyrgyzstan," according to Roza Otunbayeva Isakovna, former President of the Kyrgyz Republic and founder of the Roza Otunbayeva Initiative IPF.
The 11-concert series demonstrates the musical and cultural of the many diverse ethnicities in Kyrgyzstan, allowing each group to perform their dances, songs and stories while providing valuable historical background to audiences.
