Gala-concert of the first national dramatic reading competition
Peace Through Culture,
To be held at The Abdylas Maldybaeva Theater of Opera and Ballet
These competitions began in November 2013 and have seen participation from representatives of all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The contest is held in conjunction with the Public Fund "Scarlet Sails", studio oratory "School of Socrates" and the National Commission of the state language, and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic to promote the art of reading and improving children's interest in literature, poetry and theater.
At this gala-concert, 25 finalists will read works in Kyrgyz and Russian. Audiences will also be able to enjoy children’s musical groups from all over the country.
