We invite everyone to participate in master classes on the Japanese art of flower arrangement, «Ikebana»

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement with compositions of cut flowers, shoots in special containers and placing them in the interior. The basis of the principle of ikebana is that refined simplicity reveals the natural beauty of the material.

 

Chinar Munduzbaeva with hold workshops on Ikebana. Ms. Munduzbaeva holds an Ikebana Master 1 degree from Somu Japanese Sogetsuschool in Russia, and teaches of courses on Japanese ikebana in Moscow. She also participates in international exhibitions and was a participant in the 9th World Convention Ikebana International in Tokyo.

 

The following Ikebana master classes will be held on 21-22 July 2014 in Bishkek Park (on the lowerlevel):

 

July 21 - 1 Thread - 11:00-13:00

July 21 - Feed 2 - 18:00-20:00

 

July 22 - 1 Thread - 11:00-13:00

July 22 - Feed 2 - 18:00-20:00

 

Everyone is welcome to participate!

 

Participation in master classes costs 200 somsfor flowers and snacks. The organizers will provide ikebana kits. The duration of the master class is two hours.

 

The ikebana festival "Blooming Kyrgyzstan", displaying the works of “ikebana wizard” Chinara Munduzbaeva and her students will be held on July 24 at 11.00. The exhibition will be held on the 3rd floor of Bishkek Park until 22:00. Admission is free.

 

All are welcome at theexhibit. Guests are responsible for their own snacks.
